Определение/этимология духовности
Этот раздел неверен. Слово «духовность» не происходит от французского. Оно происходит от латыни. И оно не относится к душе. Английское «дух» происходит от латинского «spiritus», что означает «дыхание». Отсюда «вдохновение», что означает «вдыхание», и «истекать», «выдыхать». Идея о том, что дыхание содержит энергию жизни, не является уникальной для европейских традиций. В еврейском Священном Писании Бог оживляет Адама, дуя в его ноздри. В Индии пранаяма — это программа упражнений дыхания для достижения более высоких уровней осознанности. Буддисты также медитируют на дыхании. В Полинезии хони — это способ обмена маной посредством вдыхания друг другу в носы.
