Всемирный банк ранжирует отдельные страны по индексу легкости ведения бизнеса , а не отдельные штаты в пределах стран. В декабре 2014 года правительство Индии разработало собственные рейтинги легкости дозирования бизнеса для штатов Индии на основе показателей выполнения отдельными штатами общего плана действий по реформированию бизнеса из 98 пунктов, охватывающего 8 ключевых областей (подробнее см. здесь и здесь).
