The 1994–95 Courage League National Division One was the eighth season of the first tier of the English league system , currently known as the Gallagher Premiership . Bath were the defending champions and West Hartlepool and Sale Sharks were the promoted teams. Each team played each other twice, in a round robin system and this was the first Courage League season to be shown live on Sky Sports .
Leicester Tigers were the eventual champions, beating Bath by four points, claiming their second league title. The battle to avoid relegation was extremely keenly fought, with Northampton Saints being the sole relegated side after Gloucester managed to draw their rescheduled game against Bath, meaning that the Kingsholm side stayed up instead.[1]
